This is TWO events on the same day. Come to one or come to both there are tickets for you and your people either way!
Winter's still biting down hard but there are signs of spring time poking through. Let's gather together, share some food, drink and dance and raise a bot of money for a bunch of good old guys who need help keeping a magnificent dream alive.
Music, bbq and family fun through the day followed by a proper old knees up at night.
DAYTIME is the Spring BBQ. 2pm - 5pm (bring your hungry!)
Brass Blast, Shunpike Social Club and the Phoenix Choir on stage with DJ Dynamite playing tunes in the bar.
EVENING will be all about the dancing. 7pm - 10pm.
The Loveboat Three, a dance class to bring everyone up to full swing and the Auld Reekie Stompers keeping everyone moving on the dance floor..
What a line up! What a day!
WHY? It's not just a great excuse for a party...
The Aviation Preservation Society Scotland have spent the last twenty years rescuing an old Sopwith Strutter, the same fighter plane that protected Edinburgh and the Lothians from Zeppelin attack during the first world war. Thousands of hours and huge dedication have gone into building the only flying Strutter in Scotland. But the guys have become homeless and unless we can save the day this plane is destined to be sold to a museum down south.
Buy a ticket (or two), bring your family and friends to dance and laugh and meet the people who took a crazy dream and made it fly.
